NOTD | Essie Chillato

I'm a lover of all Essie nail varnishes fullstop. But this shade, ma godddddd, I usually have a good think about spending £7.99 on a nail varnish, but this took no thought whatsoever.
I'm just inlove. It's sort of an inbetween shade, not quite fully yellow, not quite lime green, but the mixture makes the perfect Summer nail colour. I can't wait till my hands are a little more tanned, this will look amazing.

The only complaint I have, is that all the other Essie shades I own take just 2 coats at the most, this takes 3 just because it does look quite streaky if you only apply two. I'll forgive them though.

Trying New Products

You know when you get a bunch of new products and you just wanna smear them all over your face? That's what happened this day. Bit of MAC, bit of Too Faced, LAAAVLY.

Firstly I've been really loving clean looking lids, no veins or skin tone shining through, so I bought the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. I love it!! It works exactly how I hoped it would, it just blanks everything out. I then applied a bit of White Chocolate from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette all over the lid just to give a fresher look.

Then on the lips I used 2 new products of mine, a MAC lip liner in Soar and the cult MAC lipstick in Velvet Teddy. I'm quite happy with this makeup look altogether. Let me know what you think.

Day Time Smokey Eye using Too Faced Chocolate Bar

I'm no eyeshadow pro, I'm not even going to pretend to be, but today is my day off and I have a new palette to play with, so this was the outcome. I used the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette to create a bit of a day time smokey eye. I used the shade Salted Caramel all over the lid, Hazelnut in the crease, and Marzipan and Champagne Truffle in the center of the lid. It's not perfect but I do quite like the outcome. Bit of something new for a Tuesday afternoon anyway!

There's something about a MAC delivery that's just so much more exciting than any other delivery! I'm not quite sure how I justified treating myself but I think it went a long the lines of them all being cult products so WHY THE HELL SHOULD I BE LEFT OUT? and then they arrived...

I haven't used any yet, but I'm dying to! I'm sure this won't the only post about these beauties.

Review | Clinique Pop in 01 Nude Pop

I'm a Clinique fan, but this just usually includes skincare, I never felt the need to buy anything from their beauty range really until this, Clinique Pop. I don't know how I got sucked in, but I really did, big time. That means going from shop to shop to get the shade I wanted.. I'm glad I did though. I picked up the Shade Nude Pop (01) which is just a nice pinky/nude suitable for everyday wear. The formula is dreamy, so creamy and moisturising. I read up about them first, and I was a bit skeptical about them claiming it to be a primer and a lipstick in one, but it really is, it really does last longer than you'd expect. It's also one of those lip products you could throw on without using a mirror (I likes that). I got mine from Debenhams for £16.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

I haven't tried any of these out yet, apart from swatching every single one of these beauties up and down my arms in Debenham's earlier today (yes I looked insane). This post is to pretty much stare at the perfectness of each shade. Let's come together to agree that this. is. the. best. palette. ever.
