Oh Essie!

Today's manicure includes Essie's 'Orange, it's obvious'.

As soon as S/S hits, everyone pulls out their pastel favourites, whereas I feel that the brighter the nail varnish, the better! It isn't that I don't like pastel colours, because I do love them. Pastels just don't look right on my nails, I have yellow toned skin and to me it just looks icky! (my mum disagrees (she said I had to add that in here haha!))

Recently, I've discovered Fragrance Direct, I don't know how I got left out, I just did. Anyway, as soon as I saw that Essie nail varnishes were £1.99 each, I immediately put 6 in my basket, mostly brights, but I did dare try out some well known Essie pastels (If anybody wants to see which shades I got, just put it in a comment below). My ultimate favourite is today's shade 'Orange, It's obvious'. It's just SO bright and SO orange, and as an Orange lover I was all over this one. It's easy to apply, you don't even need a second coat if you're in a rush, it's that opaque. It wasn't streaky in any way and it dried so quickly!! It isn't branded as a fast drying nail varnish, but this one definitely is!
I'm past happy with this nail varnish, even more so that I got it for £1.99 instead of the Boots price £7.99

So if you're looking for a fast drying, super bright, summer nail varnish, this is the one!!

Other bits and bobs I used to create this look was Sally Hansen's Maximum growth daily nail treatment, Barry M's basecoat, topcoat and nail hardener, an Avon nail art instrument and some Andrea Fulerton nail gems in gold.
