I know most empties features are on youtube, but I'm not on youtube, so mine's going to have to be here!
I never actually thought about doing a post like this until I ran out of 5 things in one day! (what are the odds?)
Some of them were just things I bought randomly, I wasn't wowed, but they worked so I used them and some I really did love and will probably buy again or have done already.
Starting from left to right.
Johnson's Daily Essentials Hydrating 24h day cream This is a product I didn't research or anything, I just picked it up in Boots after getting frustrated with all the choice! haha. Johnson's is a brand I know and trust, so when it came to a day moisturiser I thought, why not?! I actually really liked using this, it has nice packaging, it sinks in quickly but I could still feel the difference on my skin throughout the day, it has SPF 15 and it's easy to take with you if you're not always at home.
Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer Another product I love and have bought over and over. I'm in no way a primer snob, I wouldn't buy one any more expensive than this unless it was out of this world amazing and had other benefits. I love this because it's easy to apply, it's super affordable and it just works!
Toni & Guy Prep Heat Protection Mist This isn't a product that I either loved or hated. I mean, it works and it has a nice fragrance but I don't think it's any more amazing than the Vo5 heat treatment spray I'm using at the moment. It isn't crazy expensive, and I probably would buy it again if I wasn't recommended any others.
Soap & Glory Show Good Face Foundation & Primer I absolutely loved this as a foundation! I'm not quite sure it works as a primer.. as I had to use my usual primer underneath it, as throughout the day I would see my foundation slipping from the sides of my eyes and nose where my skin isn't quite normal. Apart from that, it's the most dewy and radiating foundation I've ever used, it's quite sheer but it's buildable. It probably wouldn't work as well on oily skin though as I get quite oily down the centre of my face and that's where I had to come back to in the day just to touch up. It is around £11, so not the cheapest of drugstore foundations, but I do personally think it's worth it.
John Frieda Frizz-ease Original Formula Hair Serum I honestly can't remember buying this.. haha, and I must have bought a few others before using this up (oops) but recently I came back to this, and I actually loved it. It's quite a thick serum so at first I was a bit weary of using it on my hair, but the formula is really nice and it feels professionally done after use as it doesn't sit on your hair like some cheap serums, it smooths into the hair well and works well to protect the ends of your hair from heat. I will probably buy this again once my others are used up.. hahaha.
