Everyone and their mum have jumped on the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water bandwagon, and for the most part I can see why.. The packaging is appealing, much more than the L'Oreal, as it looks similar to the Bioderma bottle. Using this is easy, it works well at removing my make up and I feel nice and clean after, without my skin feeling tight. That being said, it does say it's suitable for lips but it always leaves my lips feeling tight and dry, which isn't a huge issue really as I use the L'Oreal micellar water for lips and eyes but YA'KNOW. If you read most of my posts you may have noticed me moaning and obsessively mentioning the fact that my skin is more oily than usual at the moment, well... It's all Garnier's fault!!
The other day I used a different Micellar water for some unknown reason, and half way through the day I had a quick check in the mirror and realised my make up was still in place.. that hadn't happened for as long as I'd been using the Garnier Micellar water, so although I'm so friggin happy I've found the cause, I'm a tiny bit sad that I've had to throw myself off the bandwagon.
Obviously I'll be using the rest of this up, but only as my first cleanse for taking my make up off at night.
Did anyone else have this problem?
