I didn't think I'd have a review for this up for another couple of weeks or so, but after just under a week it's
made some clear changes to my skin. For the last 6 months or so the bottom half of my face has been like a dot-to-dot, either painful under the skin spots, yellow spots in the morning (ew, I know) or marks that last for-friggin-ever. I've probably only had a couple of days spot free (cry cry). I was searching the internet and blogs for something to help, I'd seen a million reviews pop up for Effaclar Duo [+], but as I'd never used anything from the brand before I just sort of ignored it. The first review I properly read was Genna's, I was sold, I went to Boots first thing in the morning before work and I've used it morning and night since then.
Like I already mentioned, the marks left behind by spots take months to fade for me. I hate it. It's sometimes worse than the actual spot, but since using this, marks are getting fainter and smaller by the day, my spots have dried up quicker and shrunk to tiny manageable dots that can easily be covered by concealer. The pores and red bumpy skin either side of my nose has calmed down and is less hassle to cover with make-up as well. This is all in under a week. I FRIGGIN LOVE IT. ..
When I first picked it up I was a bit annoyed that it was £15.50, because I didn't know if it'd 100% work for me or not. Now I'd be happy to pay the same again. I can't see it ever leaving my skin care routine now. The tube it comes in is also a lot bigger than I originally thought it'd be, it holds 40ml and it's just the best skin care product I've tried, just buy it.
If you don't already, follow me on Bloglovin :) (please & thank you)
