Review | Maybelline the Mega Plush Volum' express mascara

Out of all the new Maybelline mascaras they have launched, this is
the one I wanted to try the most. I can tell you straight away, this is a happy story. I could literally copy what it says on the packaging for this review as, for once, everything is true, and for that reason it's so much better than I could've hoped!

This mascara is Maybelline's first gel-mousse formula, and after one use of this angel, it's my favourite mascara, which means my Benefit They're Real mascara goes down to second place. The mega plush mascara is so easy to apply and with the help of the flexible applicator/wand you hardly have to do any work! It automatically gave my sad little (and very few) lashes a tonne of volume and length and somehow, this is the magic part, it made me look like I actually had a decent set of lashes!! I have a horrible habit of picking mascara off when I'm tired without realising, and with that an eyelash falls out almost every time, it's really not good. It's one of those make-up items that to me feels                                                                  like a fix for an imperfection I have, so I really really am loving it!

I've had the mascara on for around 7 hours now, and not one bit has flaked off or smudged under my eyes, and when I felt my lashes they're still super flexible, not brittle at all. It's also the type of mascara you can reapply in the day and it doesn't look clumpy, it just adds volume and makes a more dramatic eye. I've tested my eyelash curlers on my lashes with the mascara on as well and they didn't do any damage to them, unlike other mascaras I've tried which dried out through the day and didn't cope with the curlers at all.
A big A* from me, definitely money well spent!

I bought mine from Superdrug on 3 for 2, the offer is still on, so I'm being a pusher now and actually telling you that you DO need this and you DO need to get this! If you don't manage to get it before the offer stops RRP is £7.99 or £5.99  from Boots at the moment.
