Rimmel Fix and Perfect Face Primer - I've been using this for the last few months. There isn't really a lot to say about it, it feels lovely and silky on the skin, it works and it's cheap! That's all I need from a primer.
Dream Satin Liquid Foundation by Maybelline - This is a definite oldie, I literally don't remember the last time I used this but I knew it was good because I kept it haha. Before I had been using Soap and Glory's foundation which I love, it's such a dewy, glowy, summery foundation, but I switched it up yesterday as I was out all day and then at night so I went for a higher coverage foundation that I knew wouldn't move around my face. I'm really impressed with this foundation and I'll definitely be using it for the next few weeks.
Soap and Glory's Trick & Treatment Concealer - I actually use this more than my Collection concealer, it isn't as high coverage but I prefer it as it's so dewy and actually improves my make-up as well as covering red patches on my skin.
Nars Laguna Bronzer - Everybody and their mum has this bronzer, and now I understand why. It's so pigmented and the perfect shade for bronzing, there's no possible way it could make you orange, it's just perfect for the job. It's also very good for contouring.
Mac's Pearlmatte Face Powder in 'In For A Treat' from the Baking Beauties collection - I can't even explain my love for this product. It's easily my favourite buy of the year. It's so beautiful and so easily applied. I use it as a highlighter and it's just perfect, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is wanting a highlighter.
Nars Portobello duo Eyeshadow - This is a recent buy. I've been searching through Nars eyeshadows for
as long as I can remember now, it feels like forever! I always came back to this duo, and the other week I decided to do it already! And I'm so happy with it, the colours aren't too in your face and they're super pigmented so I can tell I'll be using them for a long time.
Urban Decay Basics Palette - Everybody owns one of the three main Urban Decay make-up palettes, and although I love the look of both the 1st and 2nd Naked palettes, I just knew I wouldn't use all the shadows and I just saw that as a waste of make-up and money, so I opted for this little beauty. There's 6 shades which work well together to create easy and simple looks and I love it!
Maybelline's Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara - If you read my review on it, you'll know I love this product. Ever since I got it I've worn it every single day, so my Benefit They're Real mascara has been sulking in my drawer for a while now.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - I'm really really happy with this product, firstly because it's amazing, and secondly because even though everyone raved about it I didn't think it'd be this good! It's an easy to use product and it just does it's job well!
Mac's Cremesheen Lipstick in Sunny Seoul - I don't usually opt for a pinky lipstick, but I just love this shade especially because it's a cremesheen finish. It's an amazing lipstick to carry around with you as it isn't as hard work as a matte finish lipstick, you can basically apply it like a lip balm, it's a very easy lip product and a new favourite!
I want the pearlmatte powder in for a treat so much! I bought the Mac cream colour base in pearl as a highlighter and it doesn't show up on my face very well! Wanted the Nars Laguna bronzer for ages too!:-(xx
ReplyDeleteThe pearlmatte powder is amazing! You should definitely get it. Same for the Laguna bronzer as well actually hahaha, I seriously love them both xx
DeleteI've had my eyes on Laguna forever :( but been a bit weary as I'm fairly fair! I'm also a huge fan of the naked basics palette! Love the look of that lipstick too - lovely post! X
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) I was the same with Laguna, but I love it, it just gives my skin a warmer appearance. x
