Guys, I am so so so gutted! I was so excited for this, I read so many reviews and looked up everything to know about this product. I thought I'd have this pinned as my favourite light, easy foundation, but it wasn't meant to be :(
First of all, I'm not completely slating this product, there are some pretty amazing pros to this foundation.
1. the statement 'liquid to powder' is completely true, it comes out of the tube as a liquid and once it's spread across the skin it turns to a very lovely feeling, light powder.
2. SPF 35, that can only be a good thing for your skin.
3. The texture and finish of the product is lovely.
4. It's easy to reapply through the day and correct any creases under the eyes and around the mouth, either buy reapplying some of the product or just giving it a quick swipe with a brush.
5. My favourite pro of all, it really does control oil. Around my nose, chin and forehead haven't looked as shine free in months!
6. It also smells of sun cream! (one of my favourite scents)
When I picked this up from Boots I actually asked to have a colour match done, just so my £27.50 was in good hands, and out of the 6 shades to choose from she chose shade 2 (light) which sounded right to me as it was more yellow toned than the lightest shade. I've worn this twice now, just to make sure my opinion didn't come from a bad skin day, and both times it's looked lovely when first applied, then gradually I've noticed it turns darker/orangey?? I haven't had a foundation do that to me since like, year 9?! I even rubbed a bit off my jawline and reapplied it to see if it'd happen again, and it did :( it starts an alright colour match and ends up 2/3 shades too dark. It also wears off through the day, not in awful patches, it just fades, and for £27.50 I didn't really want that out come..
My last negative is that yes it is a lovely finish, but it really is one of those products that looks best on almost perfect skin. Even with my usual concealers (bloody good ones too) as the foundation faded it seemed to take my concealer with it, which never happens!
I hope this is just my opinion guys, if any of you have tried it please let me know. Maybe I'm just the unlucky one haha, but I wanted to give my honest opinions on this as it's a massively hyped up product at the moment.
If you don't already, follow me on Bloglovin :) (please & thank you)
Ah I bought this today and now i'm a bit worried I have wasted my money! I think the colour changing is something to do with it's self adjusting colour but I'm glad that it has positives too. So lovely to see an honest review!

If I was you, I'd go back and get a sample to try first, cos then you could return the foundation if it's the same for you. You never know though, could be fine for you :) I thought, with it being colour adjusting, that it would stay the same shade for me as I'm pretty pale!
DeleteThe pros to it are all really good! especially for the oil control, that's why I'm so gutted!
Awww thank you! :) Just followed you on bloglovin xx
I'd take it back and explain the problem! xx
